Institute Rules and Regulations
KMC College of Nursing prepares its trainees to become exemplary citizens by adhering to the code of ethics and professional conduct at all times in fulfilling personal and professional obligations.
- Every student admitted to the Nursing Courses shall have to follow rules and regulations of the institute.
- All decisions taken by the management are final.
- Students must assemble in the college campus for prayer sharp at 08:45 am daily. Students are required to be regular and punctual for class.
- Students should maintain perfect order and strict silence inside the lecture hall.
- Movement outside the classroom between lectures should be minimal and for valid reasons only.
- Loitering around the corridors during classes and attending other classes is not allowed.
- Students should maintain silence in the class, library, reading room, and corridors.
- Students are responsible for maintaining college and hospital property.
- Students are not allowed to come directly to the Principal's office without permission from the class coordinator unless it’s an emergency.
- Students must inform the class representative about any problem, who will escalate it to the class coordinator if needed.
- Students are not allowed to receive gifts or gratuities from patients or their relatives.
- Students must maintain ethical and professional behavior both inside and outside the college, hospital, hostel, and community premises.
- Misuse or negligence of nursing lab equipment will require replacement by the student.
- Students are not allowed to paste notices without prior written permission from the Principal’s office.
- Students are forbidden to communicate with any person outside the authority without permission.
- Any student who damages the institute’s reputation is liable to be expelled.
- Students must clear all dues before discontinuing the course. Original certificates will be retained until dues are cleared.
- Violations of institute/hostel rules may result in dismissal, depending on the severity of the violation.
- The institute provides transport for fieldwork. If not feasible, students must use public transport at their own expense.
- Rules are subject to change from time to time.
