Zero Tolerance for Ragging

Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited inside and outside the campus of KMC College of Nursing. The institute follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging, and strict actions are taken against offenders without any leniency.

Acts of Ragging Include:

• Physical abuse, lewd acts, teasing, or rude treatment.
• Indulging in rowdy, undisciplined, and obscene activities.
• Forcing students to perform acts against their will.
• Causing mental trauma or psychological harm.
• Generating fear, embarrassment, or danger to students.

Actions Against Offenders:

• Debarment from admission in any technical institution in India.
• Filing of an FIR with the local police.
• Possible punishments include suspension, fines, or expulsion.
• Collective punishment if perpetrators are not identified.
• Reporting to the council with updates on the case.
• Cases to be expedited in courts as per Supreme Court guidelines.
